Eligibility Criteria for the Abertay University International Scholarship
To be considered for this opportunity, the applicants are required to meet the following eligibility requirements.
- They must be classified as international (overseas) fee status by Abertay University
- They need to be registered as full-time students for their first undergraduate degree program
- They must be studying on campus at the university
- They have met all the academic conditions attached to their admission offer for entry to the university as new full-time students in September
Those students who are admitted with Advanced Entry into Level 2 or above and those who meet the above-mentioned requirements will also be eligible for this scholarship.
Abertay International Scholarship will be offered for each year of students’ undergraduate degree, up to a maximum of 4 years, while they study in Dundee. The scholarship will not be conferred for any year the students spend studying abroad or working in industry.
Financial Coverage
Successful candidates will be conferred the scholarship amount of up to £12,000. The distribution of the amount will be £3,000 per annum for a maximum of 4 years (total study period). The amount will be deducted from students’ tuition fees.
Note: The scholarship cannot be combined with any other available scholarship at Abertay University, discounts, or the Scottish Saltire Scholarships.
