The postgraduate bursary offers a fee reduction of £4,000 for self-funded international students across its postgraduate taught (PGT) programs commencing in September 2025 or January 2026. The bursary is offered to candidates based on their academic profiles.
Recipients of the scholarship (bursary) might be required to represent the university as its ambassadors throughout their time at Brunel. They could also be required to participate in different activities to help promote the university.

Eligibility Criteria for Brunel University Scholarships for International Students
If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- To obtain a 2:2 or equivalent internationally recognized undergraduate qualification, or a China Dazhuan qualification (75 and 3 years of work experience)
- Possess a study offer for one of the university’s postgraduate taught programs or MRes programs commencing in September 2025
- Pay your study program deposit of £5,000
Financial Coverage
Under the Brunel University of London Postgraduate International Bursary, the successful candidates will be offered a £4,000 tuition fee reduction to be applied each year for a maximum of one year for students’ full-time programs and two years for full-time postgraduate taught programs or MRes programs. The fee reduction will be applied to both years of study.
It should be noted that the scholarship will be paid once for each eligible study level, subject to normal progression criteria having been met (during a repeating year, additional payments will not be made regardless of the reason for repetition).

How to Apply for the Brunel University of London Postgraduate International Bursary?
Interested candidates are not required to fill out any application form for scholarships. They will automatically be considered as long as they meet the university’s eligibility criteria. Remember, to be conferred with an international bursary for September 2025, the applicants need to meet conditions by the advisory deadline of 30th August 2025.
Those who are interested in the January 2026 intake need to meet the conditions by the advisory deadline of 28th November 2025.
