This scholarship at Cardiff University is for international students and available in a variety of postgraduate taught programs. The scholarship amount varies between £3,500 to £10,000 and will be conferred to eligible postgraduate taught students. The amount will be provided in the form of a tuition fee discount. Eligibility Criteria for Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2025
This opportunity is available to eligible candidates studying on the chosen postgraduate taught degree programs. The candidates will automatically be offered the appropriate funding as long as they meet the eligibility requirements as set out in the terms and conditions for their intake. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Submitting their applications to Cardiff University by 31st July 2025
- Accepting their offer and paying their dues by 31st July 2025, unless their deposit deadline is after the date, in which case, their deposit (payment) has to be paid by their initial deposit deadline, and their offer accepted within fourteen days of it being made
- Holding an offer for an eligible postgraduate taught study program
- Meeting the requirements of their offer (if applicable) by the date mentioned for their intake in the terms and conditions
Funding and Eligible Countries
Successful students will be provided with £3,500 to £10,000 (in between) and will be offered in the form of a tuition fee discount. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to check their countries in the list of eligible countries with funding availability on the official call. If their country is eligible, they can submit the applications by meeting the eligibility requirements. If their country is not listed, they are not entitled to apply for the Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2025.

How to Apply for Cardiff University’s Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2025
If you are an international student from an eligible country and accept the offer for the selected postgraduate program, and pay any required deposit by the deadline will automatically be considered for this scholarship scheme.
To be awarded this scholarship scheme, you need to meet, or exceed, the conditions of your offer (including any of the English language conditions) by late August 2025 for September 2025 intake – exact date will be revealed in your scholarship letter (offer).
