About EEML (Eastern European Machine Learning)
EEML Summer School is a one-week summer school that functions around core topics such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. For the practical and theoretical understanding of these topics, the summer school carries both practical sessions (labs) and lectures. EEML Summer School is organized in English and is targeted particularly to students, though it is open to anyone who shows interest in the topics.
Eligibility Criteria for EEML Summer School 2025 in Bosnia and Herzegovina

- Students and non-students from all parts of the world are welcome.

Registration Fees for the EEML Summer School
- If you are a student (high school, undergraduate, master’s or PhD), you will need to pay 100 Euros.
- If you are a postdoc/faculty member, you will need to pay 150 Euros.

- The fees will make a coverage for the lectures/lab sessions, coffee breaks, breakfasts, lunches, dinners (except 1 evening), and social events.
- Remember, your travel expenses and accommodation will not be covered.

Scholarship Availability Under EEML Summer School
Based on financial considerations, several scholarships are available for participants. If you want to avail, you need to include a scholarship request in your application. Students or applicants lacking financial support from their institution and their financial background would prevent them from attending summer school, they should provide details about their financial situation and estimated travel expenses (train/flight in Euros).
If approved, you will get a grant that will exempt the registration fees and might cover fully or partially travel costs. If you need accommodation, it will be provided in the university dorm booked for the school.
