The applications have now been started accepting for Global UGRAD-Pakistan to study in the United States. You may now submit your applications for Pakistan UGARD 2022 Global Cultural Exchange Program. This program offers you fully funded scholarship by the Educational Foundation Pakistan of the United States. Around 230 students from Pakistan are conferred with this award each year, half for the fall and the other half for the spring semester. All costs occurred during the study are covered under this scholarship scheme.

The chosen students will have a chance to study at various universities in the United States for 4-5 months.
Under Global Undergraduate Exchange Program – Pakistan, the students from Pakistan will spend around 4-5 months’ time as part of a semester exchange in America. About Global UGRAD-Pakistan
The program was launched way back in 2010 by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the U.S. Department of State. It is administered by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan, and the International Research & Exchange Board (IREX) in the United States.
Among all Pakistani university going students, this program instantly gathered momentum and got popular. This is the reason, now it is awaited massively. The Global UGRAD-Pakistan is endowed to Pakistani undergraduate students enrolled at the universities in Pakistan. This program provides an opportunity of a cultural/academic exchange through a non-degree program to the Pakistani students for a semester at a university in America.
In order to grab this opportunity, the applicants need to be either in 14th or 15th year of their formal education. The Pakistani students enrolled in either their 4 years Bachelor’s or 2 years Bachelor’s programs are eligible to make their applications for this program.

Financial Benefits
Global UGRAD-Pakistan is a short program, and all the costs occurred on this program will be covered by United States Educational Foundation (USEF). Following are the costs will be financed by this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship
For Global UGRAD-Pakistan, you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to qualify for the award. Let’s learn about it.
- Only Pakistani nationals are eligible to apply.
- Your age should be 25 or less.
- You need to be enrolled in a college or university currently.
- You need to be in 14th or 15th year of formal education.
Note: The program encourages to women, and the people with disabilities or the ones who are from Kyhber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK, Southern Punjab, Balochistan, and Northern Sindh to apply.
Who are Ineligible to Apply?
United States permanent residents and dual U.S./Pakistani nationals are not eligible to apply.
The students, whose parent or spouse is U.S. citizen, holds a pending U.S. immigration, or a a permanent United States resident, are not eligible to apply.
Students who are studying in the final year of university cannot make their applications for this program.
Those who are employees of the Fulbright organization, USAID, or the United States Department of State, and their spouse, fiancés, kids, dependents, siblings and parents. They are also ineligible to apply.

How to Apply
Application submission is online, and will be done on the official portal. Hard copies will not be entertained or considered. Applicants are directed to upload all application material (including degrees, transcripts and certificates) with online application.
