Required Documents
To apply to National Taiwan University international students’ scholarship, you need to upload the required documents along with the application form. Following are the documents, you need to arrange.
- First most is online application form
- Your highest degree diploma verified with official stamps
- Your highest degree official transcript
- Two recommendation letters
- Passport
- Study Plan: You need to write your study plan containing 600 words, and it should be written either in English or in Chinese language.
- English Proficiency Certificate: If your previous degree was taught in English, you may get the English medium taught certificate from your university or institute. Attach this letter with your application.
- Academic Thesis or any relevant publications (these are needed only for PhD applicants).

Financial Benefits
NTUST Scholarship’s recipients (both for Masters and PhD programs) will be awarded with monthly stipend (whether they receive full scholarship or partial scholarship). The department or the thesis advisor will provide the students with NTD 2000 per month to Masters’ students, and NTD 3000 per month to doctoral students with the remaining portion of the stipend provided by the university (for exact and detailed information about the financial benefits, check with the university or on its official website).
