Information About the Presidential Digitalent Programme 2024
The programme is in line with the National ICT master plan that underscores the need to create/develop a critical mass of higher-end ICT skills (expertise) and to develop an ICT-ready workforce to meet the industry’s needs. Under this programme, more than 2900 ICT graduates have benefited.
As far as Digitalent is concerned, it is a one-year internship programme conducted by the ICT Authority. A strategic Intervention by the ICT Authority on behalf of the Ministry of Information Communication Technology, it has been initiated to develop and sustain high-end ICT talent by bridging the gap between the requirements of industry and the local workforce capabilities.

Eligibility Criteria for the Presidential Digitalent Programme 2024
To be considered for this opportunity and apply for it, you must meet the following standards. Let’s find them out.
- Those interested must have graduated and obtained their first or upper-second-class honors or equivalent degree from a recognized institution in the last 2 years (from January 2022). If they are waiting for their graduation (till December 2024), they need to provide a recommendation or reference letter from their university that should be signed and stamped by the university indicating first or upper-second-class honor to be conferred.
- They need to be recent graduates in BSc. ICT or Engineering (Electrical and Electronics, Telecommunications, Security, Software) – they must possess complete knowledge in the core areas of specialization – software development & IA, networks & digital infrastructure, information security, data analytics and multimedia (ICT Graphics) & digital marketing. It should be noted that the applicants could be asked to demonstrate their technical competencies on their core of specialization before the interview.
- The applicants must be unemployed and should not have done any other internship in the government.
- They have to be prepared and willing to be deployed in any government organization (MCDAs) on a full-time basis within the 47 counties from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
