Sweden, a well-known European country that is enlisted in Schengen countries, announces scholarships for global professionals. The Swedish Institute (SI) launches ‘The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP).
Description of Scholarship:
Get ready for the scholarships in Sweden. Fasten your belts to apply for these scholarships. It is a new scholarship program that is all set to replace Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS). These scholarships are being offered in abundant quantity to the master’s level programs gearing up for autumn semester of 2019.

Duration and Value of Scholarship:
This scholarship not only covers tuition fees but also covers living expenses. The amount of the scholarship is SEK 10,000 per month. Besides, it also offers insurance and a one-time travel grant of SEK 15,000 (remember, this scholarship is only for those who live outside Sweden). There are no grants for family members.
Additionally, this scholarship is only for those applicants who are enrolled into one-year or two years masters programs. It will only be offered to the candidates joining the autumn intake. Initially, it will be granted for two semesters (one academic year) later will be extended for those programs having more than two semesters’ duration on the condition of successfully passing the previous courses/credits.
Eligibility for the Scholarship:
In order to apply for this scholarship, you have to show at least 3000 hours of work experience before the application deadline i.e. 3rd February 2019 and you must have worked with at least 3 organizations/companies also. Besides, you have to prove your capabilities as a leader. Instructions for Applications:
You need to apply for a master’s program at https://www.universityadmissions.se/intl/start Make a login and then search your program and apply there. The application period is from 16th October 2018 to 15th January 2019.
To apply for the SI scholarship, lodge the application between 4 – 14 February 2019 by following the instructions mentioned on the official website of the scholarship. You can get the application form from January 2019.
