Information about Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)

SINGA is a joint collaboration of the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the Singapore Management University (SMU) and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).

PhD training will be done at applicant’s selected lab at A*STAR Research Institutes, NUS, NTU, SMU or SUTD in English. In these labs, the selected students will be supervised by the world famous and distinguished researchers. Once you complete the PhD degree successfully, you will be awarded with a PhD degree by either NUS, NTU, SMU or SUTD.

Eligibility Criteria

Financial Coverage for Singapore Government Scholarship 2023

Successful applicants will receive fully funded financial coverage. The support will be offered for up to 4 years for PhD studies. The coverage includes:

Tuition fees
One-time airfare (up to S$1,500)
Monthly stipend amounting S$2,200 that will be increased to S$2,700 (after the applicants pass the qualifying examination)
One-time allowance for settlement (up to S$1,000)
