Vice-Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship

New Students – International self-funded paying overseas fees for an undergraduate study program, you might qualify for a scholarship worth £1,500 in your first year of study with BNU. Besides, self-funded international fee-paying students for postgraduate degree programs could qualify for a scholarship worth £3,000 in their first year of study with BNU.

International self-funded students of International MBA or MSc Cyber Security programs may qualify for a scholarship worth £5,000 in their first year of study at BNU.

To receive the above funding opportunities, applicants need to have an offer from Buckinghamshire New University for a full-time taught degree program commencing January 2026 or April 2026 intakes. There is no need to fill out any application form to be considered for the above scholarships.

Continuing Students – Self-funded international students paying overseas fees and who have enrolled at BNU could qualify for a scholarship of up to £5,000. When they enroll, they will receive £1,500 and then will be offered £1,500 upon successful progression to level 5 (Year 2). Later, they will be provided with £2,000 when they successfully progress to level 6 (Year 3).

Note: This scholarship is also available to Year 1 Foundation Year students progressing to level 4, and to those students continuing to level 5 (Year 2) and level 6 (Year 3).

Terms and Conditions for Vice-Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship

One-Off fee reduction of £1,500, £3,000, or £5,000 will be available to all candidates paying international (overseas) fees in their first year of study
They have to be self-funded
Their program of study needs to be a minimum of one year in duration
The tuition fee charged has to be a minimum of £15,000
Remember, the scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other bursaries or scholarships offered by BNU
For continuing students, the scholarship will be split like: £1,500 scholarship at enrolment time (Level 4 – Year 1), £1,500 scholarship for students progressing to Level 5 (Year 2), and £2,000 for students progressing to their Level 6 (Year 3) – it must be noted that this is available for new students who began their courses from September 2023.
If students would like to continue the scholarships, it is subject to satisfactory attendance and successful progression in the study program from the previous level of study
MSc Nursing programs are excluded from this scholarship opportunity

International Early Payment Discount
