Postgraduate Global Subject-Specific Merit Scholarships
These scholarships are worth up to £5000 off international tuition fees for the study program. To be awarded the opportunity, the following criteria have to be met. Applicants must:
Be termed as overseas/international fee-payer status. Home fee-paying students are unfortunately not eligible.
Obtain at least a 75% GPA or its equivalent in their bachelor’s degree program
Possess an offer to study an eligible level 7 postgraduate degree program at the university starting in the academic year 2025-26. Eligible programs include all master’s level degrees within the:
- School of Arts and Creative Industries
- School of Psychology
- School of Sport Science and Physical Activity
- School of Applied Sciences
- School of Life Sciences
Apart from the above, the following courses are also included.

Note: Those candidates who are successful in obtaining these scholarships will not be entitled to or eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries. But they will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts for sure on their tuition fees.

Postgraduate Global Merit Scholarship
Under this scholarship scheme, the successful candidates will be offered £3000 off the total international tuition fees for the study program. To be awarded the scholarship, the following criteria need to be met. Applicants must:
- Be termed as overseas or international fee-payer status. UK nationals/home fee-paying students are not eligible
- Be applying for a master’s degree/postgraduate program
- Obtain at least a 75% GPA or its equivalent in their bachelor’s degree program
- Note that those who are progressing from their undergraduate program at the University of Bedfordshire are eligible (but are successful in getting this award), will then not be eligible for the Alumni discount or Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship
- Understand that if they become the recipients of this opportunity will then not be eligible for any other bursaries or scholarships (including the Alumni discount). But they will be eligible for the prompt payment discount on their tuition fees.
Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship for Postgraduate Students
It must be noted that on all the master’s level degree programs, including MBA, international students who do not receive any of the university’s scholarships will receive this award (VC Scholarship). This offers a reduction of £1000 off their first year’s tuition fees. Those who progress from the University of Bedfordshire’s undergraduate degrees to master’s programs will also be eligible for this scholarship (check alumni discount as under).
Students who get this scholarship will not be eligible for any other bursaries or scholarships, but will be eligible for the £500 prompt payment discount on their tuition fees.
