Eligibility and Selection Criteria for the University of Sharjah Student Support Fund
- Newly admitted students (only the ones who are in their first semester) are not eligible to apply for the student support fund until they complete their first academic year. They will be able to apply from their subsequent semesters.
- Eligibility is only for undergraduate students to benefit from SSF.
- Students are required to provide documentary evidence of financial need if they want to avail this opportunity.
- It should be noted that students can benefit from student support fund only once in each academic year.
- Any amounts provided or given to a student by the student support fund but are not subsequently required to be used for any housing or educational fees will be returned to SSF. The amount will also not be refunded to the student.
- Students need to obtain a minimum CGPA (2 points) in their regular term (fall and spring) to apply for the student support fund.
