Eligibility Criteria for the Mid-Level Professionals Programme

You need to be a national of a UNESCO Member State.
UNESCO strongly encourages qualified candidates from non-and under-represented member states.
The selection process of MLPP will be based on the standard recruitment process of UNESCO.
It is to be noted that the work experience and standard educational requirements for professional positions at P-3 and P-4 levels will apply.

Language Requirements for the UNESCO Mid-Level Professionals Programme

If interested and you meet the eligibility criteria, you then should show an exceptional knowledge of at least one working language of the Secretariat (English or French). If you have a good knowledge of other working languages, it will be considered an asset, or in some cases, is required.

It is worth noting that your knowledge of Chinese, Arabic, Russian, or Spanish might be required or will be an additional asset.
