Objectives of the Program

The program has been developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France to assist the higher education institutions of France to attract the best foreign students to Master’s and PhD degree programs.

Th program is out there to train future foreign decision-makers from the public and private sectors in the pivotal areas of study and gives encouragement to applications from the applicants in emerging countries at the Master’s level and in emerging plus industrialized countries at the doctoral level.

The Eiffel Scholarship Program of Excellence encourages students whose age is up to 25 years from developing countries at master’s level, and also encourages the students with age up to 30 years from developing and industrialized countries at doctoral level/PhD.

Levels of Study

The higher education institutions/universities in France which submit applicants to the Eiffel Scholarship Program agree to enroll them:

In an engineering program
In courses which lead to a Master’s degree
In a joint PhD/doctoral program (joint supervision of dissertation and/or dual degree) in a partnership with an abroad partner institution.

Scholarship Duration for Eiffel Scholarship Program of Excellence 2023

For Master’s Degrees

· When enrolling in an M2, a maximum of one year (12 months)

· When enrolling in an M1, a maximum of two years (24 months)

· For the completion of an engineering degree program, a maximum of 36 months.

For PhD Degree

For the doctoral program, the scholarship is for a period of 12 months (one-year) in France.

Eligibility Criteria for France Government Scholarship for International Students

To be considered for this facility, the applicants have to meet the following eligibility standards.

Foreign nationals are eligible to apply (international).
The eligible applicants should be from outside France.
For a Master’s degree program, the required age is up to 25 years.
For a PhD degree program, the required age is 30 years.

Financial Coverage for Campus France Scholarship
