Eligibility Criteria for the University of Hawaii at Manoa Scholarships
You are eligible to apply for the scholarship if you are admitted first-year or transfer degree-seeking student/applicant and your citizenship is outside the United States (those who require an F-1 visa to enroll are eligible). Besides, you need to have a strong academic background.
First-year admitted applicants who are considered international students (as mentioned above) and who require an F-1 Visa to enroll at the University of Hawaii at Mona with a cumulative 3.3 high school/secondary school GPA or higher will be taken into consideration for the scholarship. Transfer-admitted overseas applicants (international students) who require an F-1 Visa to enroll at UH Mona with a cumulative 3.3 college GPA or higher will be taken into consideration for the scholarship.
Note: If you already possess a Bachelor’s degree and are planning to pursue a second degree at Mona, you are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

There is financial coverage available under the University of Hawaii at Manoa scholarships for international students. The amount for the international merit award scholarship is equivalent to 150% of the resident tuition rate presently for the 2023-24 academic year.
