Selection Procedure for the University of Miami Stamps Scholarship Opportunity

Chosen semi-finalist candidates (for stamps scholarship) would be asked to write a short-response to a pre-determined essay prompt. Finalists will then be chosen on the basis of a review of candidates’ supporting documents, applications, their responses to the pre-determined essay prompt. Candidates will be notified of their status as finalists at the time of admission in late January.

Later, the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation will then interview the finalists and the announcements of Stamps Scholarship will be done by early March.

Financial Coverage

Merit award will be provided to Stamps Scholars that is equivalent to the full cost of attendance for 4 years of undergraduate study. The funding offered to chosen candidates will include tuition and fees, a meal plan, on-campus housing, university health insurance, a laptop allowance, textbooks, and access to a $12,000 enrichment fund that could be used toward study abroad, unpaid internships, undergraduate research, and other educational pursuits.
