About Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Turkish Cyprus

EMU is a public university in Northern Cyprus. Established in 1979 under the leadership of Onay Fadıl Demirciler as a higher education institution. EMU was converted to a state university in 1986. As for Eastern Mediterranean University ranking, it is ranked 501 in the world university rankings issued by the Times Higher Education.

This EMU Scholarship Turkey is based on article 3 of the regulations of EMU. This opportunity will be conferred to those undergraduate applicants who are in the top 1% among the secondary school graduates in their home countries. The applications for scholarships will be evaluated by the university at the end of August 2022. Financial Coverage Available Under Eastern Mediterranean University Scholarship

The full scholarship makes a coverage of tuition fee for the regular duration of student’s academic program. In addition to that, free accommodation will also be offered in a double room and 3 meals per day.

Note: Eastern Mediterranean University offers this scholarship only for the intakes commenced in September. Late applications are not considered.

Tuition Fee Waivers

This opportunity of tuition fee waivers is based on article 7 of the regulation of EMU. This is awarded to the undergraduate applicants who have demonstrated higher performance in their country of nationality (home country) in the university entrance system. In each academic year, the university selects only 2 best students among the horde of applicants from each country.

Note: Remember, all applications for scholarships (for this opportunity) will be evaluated by the university latest by 21^st February 2022 for the coming academic semester. If any prospective students, who have been awarded with a 100% tuition fee waiver, do not get themselves registered for the accepted semester, the applications then for the upcoming (next) semester would be collected.

This opportunity only makes the coverage of tuition fees for students’ regular academic program’s duration.
